Surrender

Distraction never goes away. Only our relationship to it changes.

And change is good. Without it we become stagnant and unable to cope. Lost. Treading water. Resisting.

The challenge then becomes to, in lieu of resisting,

Surrender.

Surrender is a bad word to some. As in if I surrender then I lose.

To others surrender conjures images of religious affiliations.

Surrender can also mean embracing the simplicity of life at its core. The ultimate in human experience.

Namely,

True connection.

With self

With others

With nature.

If anything just surrender to the breath. Inhale deeply and then just let go.

Feels amazing doesn’t it.
