Focus

Imagine a caricature of yourself drawn on a piece of paper.

Above you are hundreds of those little thought clouds, the kind in comic strips.

Hundreds and hundreds of thought clouds floating all around.

And you as a character on the page look up and see them there.

Bewildered.

Unable to decide which one to devote your attention to.

For most people this is what every day feels like.

But it doesn’t have to.

Know that despite the common misconception that we as humans are multi taskers, we are actually designed to focus intensely upon one task at a time.

Eat.

Survive.

Reproduce.

Thankfully we have those bases covered and can focus (intensely) upon other things.

One at a time.

As if our life depended upon on it.
