It’s easy to get caught up in the narcissistic intoxication of page views, likes and followership.
But once those metrics become the measure by which you gauge success, then you’ve lost the heart of what it is you actually set out to do.
The internet abounds with schemes and programs all designed to maximize “conversion” and increase cash flow.
And that’s fine because we all need to eat.
But when the future and end game take priority over the responsibility to produce quality content in the NOW, (the stuff that comes from the heart) then we are lost forever.
