A good yoga teacher will counsel as to the difference between pain and discomfort.
Pain is obviously the body’s indication that injury is occurring or imminent.
Discomfort on the other hand is often an indication that something is going entirely right.
What we don’t often understand though is the difference.
And that’s where a great teacher or coach comes in.
How many things have you quit because it was uncomfortable or inconvenient or hard?
How many of those things would prove to be life changing if only you had the guidance and inspiration and motivation to move past the discomfort and into the next level of strength or conditioning or understanding?
Seek out a coach or teacher or mentor and actually listen to them.
That is all.
